Support Opportunities
Hospice depends on the support and generosity of members of the community. There is no charge to a patient or their family for services provided. Services not reimbursed by Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance are absorbed by Hospice and paid for with donations. There are several ways to support Hospice.
Direct donation or memorial contribution
Support of Fund-raising events
(through participation or contributing to a participant) a February dance, a 3 mile hike/5 mile run in April, a golf outing in June
Membership in Hospice
Volunteering
- grassroots/advocacy support
- direct patient care
- clerical and office duties
- helping with fund-raising events
- board membership

Legacy donation
Contact a lawyer or financial planner to see how you can give Hospice an ongoing gift. The amount does not have to be large as you might think and will be a lasting tribute.
